Karting Trip Writeup
On Thursday afternoon all the boys and a
handful of teaches traveled down to Daytona Go-Karting in Milton Keynes. The boys
were split into seniors and juniors and from there the boys were split again
and were sent out onto the racetrack. The seniors had 20-minute races on the
large 1,360m course whilst the juniors raced for 15 minutes on a shorter track.
After some serious racing, there emerged a set of winners. Max Skavronskiy won the senior category and Ben Kight claimed victory in the juniors. Despite the pre-race
gloating, Mr Gracie finished empty handed, to the relief of the boys; a painful
house meeting would have ensued had he won! Overall the boys had a great time
and the house is definitely going to continue this tradition next year.
