Talbot's House

On the 8^th of September the first of many House Barbecues this year began as tournament of football for the seniors culminating in an upset victory in the final by Mik’s team against the tournament favourites (and unbeaten) Ben’s team.  The barbecue was typical of the house, with warm hamburgers served with marginally colder drinks. As the first true house meal together, it could have been expected to be more sedate than usual however once the food had been thoroughly enjoyed the boys again took to the grass. This time however Sergey’s American ‘Football’ was centre stage as Mr. Gracie and Mr. Rees locked horns with about 2/3rds of the house for the first time in what promises to be a competitive rivalry between the HM and AHM. Overall, the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all and a high benchmark has been set for the future.
