Friday celebration 9/9/16

Well its the end of our first week and the end of every week in Talbot's means celebration night. We get a takeaway in and celebrate everything, Whether its being helpful to other boys, playing in a first concert or being selected for the 1st XV, everyone's achievements mean something in our community.

Academically, Edwin was awarded academic stripes for being one of the very top performers in the Remove form exams last year, a rare feat and something to be very proud of.

To go with this the following were awarded merits this week:
1: Jo, Henry, Andy, Curtis, Adrian, Frank, Anthony, Alikhan, Alex, Alex, Duncan, Simon

In sport this weekend there are 12 Rugby fixtures against Uppingham, whilst the fourth form will have trial matches.

George is in line for a first team debut from the bench whilst Kighty makes his first 1st XV start - huge well done to them for this prestigious achievement.
In the rest of the seniors, the fifth team is our best represented team this week with four starters in Adrian, Frank, Duncan and the crowd favourite - Szeets with J.Lo and John.C on the bench and Leo and Anthony watching.
In the under 16s Dan will go in the C teamt.
In the U15s, Brady will be representing the C team, Dan the Bs and Tendai, who has joined us for the weekend, will be in the A squad.

Top Bloke this week went to Frank for being incredibly helpful on new boys day and cooking the BBQ for the options on the early return night.

Man of the week was Edwin for the excellent achievement of academic stripes.
