It's been the first full week back for everyone and as ever, it has been absolutely chockablock with events.
This week we had a big Chinese takeaway on Thursday to celebrate the mid-autumn festival which was appreciated by all and tonight was another BBQ time!
In general Arthur, Alex and Jason did amazing work fertilising part of the garden this week. Niklas, Jason and Arthur were to the fore in getting up the new hammocks alongside our epic sports tournament last Sunday organised by Hodges.
Everyone is getting stuck into some form of sport and there are a number of Rugby fixtures against Bromsgrove and Uppingham.
Kighty continues after his sharp performance and two tries at 15 for the 1st XV last week and Sewy is going to do some damage in the 2nd XV. Sasha P looks to unleash beast mode in the 4th XV and the mighty 5ths contain four men of Talbot's in DK, J-Chan, big Frank and Leo.
In the U16s, Dan is in the C team again this week.
In the U14s, all the lads are making their debuts for the school and we are really proud that Henry and Divine will take the field for the B team, good luck to everyone!
Academically it has been a huge week with the announcement today that Luke was awarded academic colours. A very impressive reward and well justified by his incredible AS grades and hard work.
In merits, the following will gain their sweets this week:
1: Henry, Brady, Kosta, Curtis, Stephen, John, Sasha.K, Big Frank, Henry, Nihat, Alikhan, Harun, Simon, Kighty
2:David, Ruslan, Alikhan.Y, Arthur, Charles, Lennart, Sewy, Hodges, luke, Alex.S
3:Joseph, Niklas
4: Divine, Jason, Edwin, Oscar
King of merits this week with an impressive total of 6 is Tizian
Room of the week goes to Henderson.
Top Bloke is George S for setting a new school weight lifting record.
Man of the week is Matthew for having the courage to have a go at conducting house singing rehearsals and to start a new society.
