Talbot's House

On Friday the 15^th November, some boys accompanied by Mr Gracie, went to the St. Cecilia’s Day concert to support those playing an instrument in one of the orchestras or ensembles.

Our clear favourites were the Bedford School Chamber Orchestra as well as the Bedford School First Orchestra. They did a really great job, maybe because lots of St. Peters and Talbot’s boys played in it!

But the other performers also did very well, just like The Bedford School Dance Band which delighted the audience with relaxing jazz songs.

The Bedford School Brass Ensemble showed the familiar high standard as always.

The Bedford School Second Orchestra performed a respectable act. It is amazing seeing boys participating in a very good way although they’ve just started learning their instrument only a few months ago.
