House Trip to the Lion King
On Thursday 14th, the whole of the house went on a trip to see the Lion King in the West End. The boys piled onto the bus at five o'clock, after the scramble for packed lunches, they hunkered down for the long drive through rush-hour traffic with the knowledge of a top quality show at the end of it all. Eventually, we reached our destination, however there were moments to spare, as the bouncer was calling the three minute warning as we clambered up the stairs to our seats. There was not an ounce of disappointment, however. The performance was of the highest quality, however the boys were sure that they would've given the cast a run for their money with the rendition of 'They Live In You'. After a thoroughly entertaining show, the boys returned to the coach, where a lively karaoke would brighten up the late night journey. We eventually returned to the house, where an exhausted, yet cheerful house went straight to bed. It was a very enjoyable evening, an entertaining night out by all accounts.
