We started the week with house water polo winning one out of the two games and going through to the next round which will be on Monday next week. Boys in the house took part in a block fixture against Harrow which resulted in an number of boys winning their matches. It was especially pleasing to see 28 boys representing the school and both Charles and Lennart playing their first matches for Bedford.
In Arts news, Teepee gave an excellent performance of a scene from his upcoming play, Othello, in assembly which was slightly frightening in its intensity at times. There will be a blog post about the play arriving soon...
Some amazing news was Dan.L being awarded his Art colours, the first major colours of the year in the house.
The house Tuck Shop reopened this week with much excitement.
Tomorrow brings more rugby matches-the seniors playing Stamford. Rufus again will be playing for the first team, Jack for the 2nd's. For the third team Justus, Michael, John and Ed. Charlie and Benno will be playing for the 4th's. James and Nico are playing Oundle for the fifth team. In the U16s, Ben.K continues to captain the A's after getting a shout out in assembly. Alex is playing for the B's whilst Bob is in the C team with Duncan. In the U15s Frank is on the wing for the A team, Teepee is joined in the Bs by george and Sasha and Adrian is promoted to the Cs. Dan S is playing Bromsgrove for the U14C's with Leon in the As. Good luck to all of you chaps.
In Rugby this week, Leon has found out he made the Saracens U14 regional academy.
In swimming, Jonny was part of the school relay team that won Gold at the Stowe relays!

Room of the week goes to Nico-well done.
Matron has singled out Charles and Duncan for being particularly helpful - something we love to hear about in the house.

Top bloke of the week goes to Dan.L for his being awarded major colours.

1: Dan, Nico, Benno, Philip
2: Alex C, Charlie, Jonny, Ben M, Darren, Duncan, Hodges, henry
3: Lennart
5: Kritt
Man of the week goes to Frank for giving the house a great rep by his amazing progress in school, so much so that another boy wrote to MRG to comment about it.
