This was our second last F-C of the year and, though we are smaller in number after exams, there is still much to be praised in the house. Ben was part of the under 17 cricket side that won by 1 run against Sedbergh today to book their place in the national final. Teepee found out he is selected for the national schools athletics champs in the triple jump and that he is going to be Othello in next term's play.
To continue on the sporting theme, Ben and Alex have been selected for the U15 A and B teams respectively whilst John, Michael, Jack and Karan are all selected for the 3rd XI tomorrow.
Mik rowed at the Henley regatta qualifiers today, where we hope all went well.
In the weekly merit competition, Simon, Philip, Mike, Leo, Nico and Rio were awarded 1 each, Sasha gained 2, Alex.G, Hodges and Kritt got 3, but this week's King of Merits was (not for the first time) Bob.
This week's top bloke for his helpfulness around the house and being part of the epic cricket win was Ben.K.
Man of the week was Simon, who has been part of the live below the line campaign, went to see his friends in the 2nd Orchestra concert and has tweeted a number of pictures of good things that have happened.
