Talbot's House

On the 11th of October, Miss Dimmock's tutor group ventured out into Bedford town, careless of the treacherous journey they were making, in search of the italian restaurant that they planned on descending on. The journey was made treacherous by the snazzy blazers adorned by the senior boys, particularly eye-catching were that of Michael and John Holroyd, who were slightly cautious due to their surroundings. There was undoubtedly a gulf in the formality of the way in which the boys had dressed, as Tom Crowson had turned up sporting his TK Maxx shoes, hoody and Asda polo shirt; however he was not at all bothered by this, and merrily enjoyed making jokes at the blazer wearers expense. Eventually, the boys managed to reach the restaurant, where the senior 'lads' ordered beer, however the juniors were forced to settle for coke. The table's conversation descended into a mix of gossip and intelligent philosophising, as you'd expect from well educated boys, albeit teenagers. However, the table soon fell silent as the pizza arrived. Having demolished the pizzas, some boys moved on to dessert with gusto. Having limped through the desserts (the boys were very full up at this point) it was time to return home. It was a memorable night which will hopefully be repeated before too long!
